Shipfaster UI Kit

Redesigned Shipfaster UI to establish it as a high-quality, standalone design system for web apps, landing pages, and marketing sites.

Shipfaster UI is a robust design system and UI kit that empowers designers and developers to build scalable digital products with clarity and speed. Developed and created by Designership, it includes an expansive set of components, templates, and best-practice design guidelines that streamline workflows and maintain visual consistency. Our goal was to solidify Shipfaster UI as a flagship product distinct from its course roots and position it as one of the most-used Figma-based design systems.

The redesign included the development of a new visual identity and logo, a complete overhaul of the component library (from version 2.4 to 2.7), and a modern marketing website that clearly communicated the product's value and encouraged direct purchase. The site features real-world use cases, detailed component breakdowns, and onboarding support, all wrapped in a highly-converting interface.

DESIGN BRIEF & CREDITS

To elevate Shipfaster UI into a standalone product by creating a clear brand identity and refining the design system for scalability, usability, and growth.

As the lead designer managing and expanding the design system:

Developed the logo and brand visual to differentiate Shipfaster UI from other Designership products
Directed and executed the redesign of the UI kit from version 2.4 to 2.7, adding 20+ components and updating old variants in line with new Figma features
Created and structured scalable component libraries and interface guidelines
Designed a modern, conversion-focused marketing website, including homepage, features, testimonials, and real-world applications
Produced all supporting assets, UI visuals, and sample content to promote the system
Storyboarded and designed the promotional video, with animation handled by a teammate
Filmed a behind-the-scenes promo video showing my UI process in real time

The end result is a fully evolved product experience that elevated Shipfaster UI’s position in the market and equipped design teams with the tools to work faster and smarter.
